Demons Away conquers regional airwaves

The 25-year-old’s second single Demons Away that was released back in July is already hitting airwaves in Zambia and he expects it to spread to the whole region in the near future.

The single was produced by JRB at Ear Drum Records. Kyler Soft directed the single’s video that was shot a month ago. The video is available on YouTube and it is currently airing on Zambia’s Trend television. The young rapper said he is on a mission to build credibility across the region.

Demons Away is available from a link in his Facebook page Mteezy DaBoi Raptown. The single is yet to reach the local television and radio airwaves.

“I am spreading the (Gospel) word and it is important that I touch as many people as I could, it doesn’t have to be my people only,” he said.

“Things have been slow locally as I try to get to Btv and the rest of the radio stations but everything is coming up. I expect it on air very soon.”

The Ramokgwebana-born artist said his music is not for sale. He said he is targeting every available route to market his music be it the social media or any other forms of new media at disposal.

“I see Zambia as only a breakthrough in my journey into the Southern African region but it is just a start.”

“New media creates many possibilities and my mission is to exploit which ever I come across and hopefully reach all pockets of the world.”

“I am not in a hurry to make sales as yet. I want people to appreciate my music first and then when I have enough support base I can start thinking commercial.” Mteezy broke into the music scene with his first single My Life back in 2013. My Life enjoyed airplay in Duma FM. With the past single the young rapper has featured in a number of gospel festivals across the country.
