Briefing the media recently, the event manager Zenzele Hirschfeld said there are logistics and protocols to follow but in the end Bishop TD Jakes would be here for the first time. “This man is a brand and he specifically has his own special requests therefore bringing him here is not a child’s play,” she said.

Hirschfeld said Bishop TD Jakes has inspired many people therefore it will be a great occasion. Despite not revealing how much it cost to bring the man of God to Botswana, Hirschfeld said it is very expensive.

Pastor BF Ramogapi of Royal Assembly Ministries will support TD Jakes in the three-hour event that will start at 10am until 1pm. Ramogapi’s wife, Kgalalelo Ramogapi said it is going to be historic thus they expect Batswana to come and be part of the life changing show.

“It’s a Monday morning programme, so people should arrange leave days just to see the men of God and it will be worth it,” she highlighted. She added that the UB Indoor Sports Arena has limited sitting capacity therefore there will be controlled access into the venue.

Kgalalelo said the session will include all motivational speaking topics from business to leadership. “This will benefit everyone. TD Jakes is a man who wears different hats therefore we should take the moment by the horns,” she said. Kgalalelo said TD Jakes’s team was already in Botswana to insure that everything is set for September 11.

For his part, The Mayor of Gaborone, Kagiso Thutlwe said the city is ready to host the man of God. He said he used to listen to TDS Jakes’s motivational speeches in audio and videocassettes in the past. “Its going to be chaotic, people will get the real grace,” he said. Tickets for the general stands is sold at P250, VIP is sold at P750 while VVIP is P1,200.
