Paul was last week suspended following the controversial encounter between the new comers and defending league champions, Township Rollers.

The reasons for Paul’s suspension are not clear while Kopi is said to have opted to remain on the sidelines until Paul’s issue is resolved.

Club president, Isaac Chilisa yesterday said he was not in a position to divulge the reasons behind Paul’s suspension since the two parties are still to sit down and iron out issues.

There was speculation that the suspension could have been due to the side’s poor start to the season while others alleged that it could have been linked to events that characterised the bruising encounter which left Rollers attacking midfielder, Joel Mogorosi with a fracture, ruling him out for about two months.

“I am not in a position to reveal the reasons behind the suspension because that will not be fair to both of us.

We are still to discuss the issue and map the way forward so until then I cannot reveal anything,” Chilisa said yesterday.

He, however confirmed they have roped in Tsatsilebe to assist in the meantime since the team is left without a coach during Paul and Kopi’s absence.

He said Tsatsilebe’s appointment is a stop gap measure with nothing permanent and long term agreement between the two parties. He said only after the issue with Paul has been settled, that is when they can see how they move forward.

Tsatsilebe has been available since Black Forest decided not to extend his contract at the end of last season.

On the other hand, Paul, together with Kopi helped Sharps gain their first ever promotion to the Premier League. Before Paul’s suspension, the team had collected three points from five games.

They were yet to win a match in the league, but tasted their first victory this past weekend away to TAFIC.  In Paul’s absence, goalkeeper coach, Blue Sema was in charge during the 2-0 win over TAFIC.

Tsatsilebe started work yesterday ahead of tonight’s encounter against Police XI.
