In an interview, Mmeanyana said as a singer and dancer he knows better when talent is not appreciated therefore he wants to bring change. “I personally believe that success is not only driven from books and a good education, passion and self-drive is also a determination to prosper,” he said. He highlighted that he is currently involved in a courier company called Pack and Send that is responsible for transporting parcels around Botswana. He also runs a newly established company called Silver Dynamite that deals with manufacturing and distribution of floor tiles.

He said that the main project he is currently focusing on is a television show called The Battle Ground TV Show, which his team is very passionate about and believe will bring great change to the talent scene in Botswana. “We want to unearth and bring forth talent of the Botswana youth and enable them to generate money for survival. We strongly believe that it will be a platform for those who are talented to showcase what they are really capable of doing,” he said.

Mmeanyana added that they are still faced with shortage of finances. “The major delay is that we don’t have funds and potential sponsors haven’t yet responded to our sponsorship requests,” he said. He said that they would really appreciate it if sponsors came forth to assist them financially. He added that last year they established a dance television show, Drizzle, but due to lack of financing it did not perform well. This time around he is positive that they have developed a better plan.

He said in the show competitors will slug it out in different dance styles. “As time goes on we would also like to add more categories such as singing, rapping as well as poetry,” he said.

He highlighted that he had made good relations with Sandile Shezi of Global Forex whom he looks up to for inspiration. “He (Shezi) quit his studies to follow his passion for online trading and taking such a huge risk is commendable, its motivation on its own,” he said.
