Liz Kid embraces African women through Let me Love

Through the song, Liz Kid embraces African women and intends to give hope to those who have given up in love. The song was composed and recorded at Red City Music in Palapye.

Let me love is a hip hop song that features DJ Smiz, Afro Kay and Tswello.  According to Liz Chatoya Events, an agency that hosts events in Palapye, supported Liz Kid to record the single.

According to the 20-year-old Liz Kid, the single is all about giving hope to those people in love relationships to have trust in their partners. He said the song talks about love and couples.

“Considering that nowadays people especially the youth do not value relationships and find it hard to love, we thought it was necessary to come up with something that could probably change their minds. Women believe that men are trash, that men are dogs who would go to any extent to hurt their feelings.

“But through the song, we wanted to reflect that not all men are like that and that love exists. We wanted to come up with a song that can address challenges faced by people in love,” said Liz Kid.

The song also talks about African women, how they abide by their culture and norms, describing their body shape. In the song Liz Kid narrates that African women can be trusted in relationships even outside their continent as they have been raised up to be trustworthy. The song embraces their behavior and their looks.

Let me Love is Liz Kid’s second single after Bella Manyora, which he released in 2014. According to Liz kid, Bella Manyora had a very positive response from fans.

The song, which is not yet in stores for sale, has already been launched at Hunters Inn Pub in Palapye and is already in the social media (Facebook, YouTube). Liz kid told this publication that the song is currently for free downloads.

He added that by making it available for free, it is a way of advertising it so that they can get more bookings at events and parties.

However, the Palapye born and raised artist said the song has so far received a positive response from the fans, saying they must continue supporting local music.
