The ‘Khiring Khiring Khorong’ hit maker is expected to dish the South Africans his mouthwatering performance next month in Mafikeng at the annual four-day music festival, which will be held at Lotlamoreng Dam.

ATI has been at his best for the past two weeks after stealing Davido’s limelight at the St Louis festival and locking horns with Tekno this past weekend at the Fables Music Festival.

Real name Atasaone Molemogi, ATI who recently got a fat endorsement from BTC, could not have dreamt for a better way to end what has been a fruitful year. While he has already shown Nigerians what he can do, he will be facing SA artists this around in their own pit. The rapper has even shared the good news with his fans on Facebook.

Amantle Brown is not new to the SA field after hosting a successful tour alongside her boyfriend Jujuboy. She was in South Africa performing her hit Follow and the Black Mampatile hitmaker previously told Showbiz her intentions to penetrate the SA market and perhaps relocate at some point.

Both ATI and Amantle will perform alongside Vusi Nova, Caiphus and Leta, Lucas Senyatso, Mafikizolo, Mmaausi, Kaylow, Robbie Malinga, TS, Amanda Black, Selaelo Selota, Zonke, Musa, KB, Quincy K Encore, Tshedi Mholo, Zahara, Beesting, Samthing Soweto, Sjava and Ezbie Moilwa.

The event, which is in its third year, will start with a poetry night on Thursday, followed by Motswako night on Friday and the main festival night on Saturday with some of the local acts expected to be participating.

Mahika Mahikeng Cultural Festival is an earmarked arts economic development programme aligned to the state of the province objectives and supports the rebranding, repositioning and renewal programme of the provincial government.

Mahika Mahikeng as a music and cultural festival provides a platform for product, position and paradigm innovation for the creative industries sector in Bokone Bophirima and the development of Mahikeng as the capital of the arts in the country.

Last year local artists who participated in the event include BanT who performed on Friday alongside South African Motswako legends. Tumeletso Sereetsi of Sereetsi and the Natives who shared the stage with international legends like Jonathan Butler also gave a thrilling performance last year leaving the audience yearning for more during the event as well as other local DJs.
