The fashion show dubbed X fashion appreciation party will have young and seasoned designers showcasing Arabian designs at My Kind Of Place (MKOP) on September 1.

“As X Models, we are diverse and this can be easily seen by the models that we have from different backgrounds. We decided to do something new since we are young and creative,” Leatile Motlhalamme the X Models director said. The young director noted that breaking boundaries is something that X Models believes in. The agency has models of different races, sizes and albino models. He noted that models from the agency would be donning Arabian outfits that will be designed by local fashion designers.

The fashion designers will be Jadark Kuvian, Habeeb, LT Peculiar and well-travelled designer Aobakwe Molosiwa.

“Also with this event we want to sell the lifestyle that every successful people desire ranging from exclusivity, elite and privacy.” The dress code for the attendants will be Arabian outfits, which are normally colourful. With it being an Arabian themed event it will also have belly dancers showcasing the traditional Middle Eastern folk dance moves. Rapper Juju Boy will also be part of the entertainers.

“This is not only a fashion show but it also a platform to network, have fun and meet new people,” Motlhalamme said.

X Models has previously hosted a fashion show with an albinism awareness theme last year.
