The single that has already hit the local private radio stations airwaves have been trending on social media lately. S’2 by 2 was released at the end of June this year.

In an interview with Showbiz, JT Specialboy said the song encouraged couples to be together and to be faithful to one another.

“This song encourages couples to stick together through all the good and bad times. It is dedicated to young couples because as we know, young people have a tendency of turning against their partners more especially during hardships such as unemployment, health issues and others.

We wanted to show them the beauty of sticking together throughout all the obstacles that life may throw at them because at the end they will look back together and laugh about the past challenges. No problem is permanent,” he said.

He said even though the song was not available for download, he said he can send it through WhatsApp to his fans. He said since releasing the single, he got a positive response from his fans.

“The response is awesome and most people cannot believe that this song was produced and sung by local artistes. Our collaboration with Amanandos started when we met and produced JDe Supersta’s Cd titled Tunavangundy. As artistes from Blxckmail Entertainment, we have more collaborations with other local artists,” he said.

The young man further urged the nation to support local music by buying their Cds. He said even though there are many talented local artistes, some end up giving up on their dreams because of lack of support. He said they were facing financial problems as artistes because they did not have an open market.

JT Specialboy added that they were also not getting enough support from local airplay and urged the local radio and television stations to play upcoming artistes songs than playing the same artistes over and over again.  He said they are currently working on visuals of most of the songs they released last year.

This artiste also pointed out that they were working on hosting their own events. He said they would soon be hosting the Hip-Hop Therapy session and that they are planning on touring different schools to sensetise students on the importance of taking their studies seriously, discussing life after school and giving them life advices.
