Mingo Touch cut ties with Vee again

It will be the second time Mingo leaves the label after recently reuniting with the same record label that shot him to prominence in 2005.

The reformed young man who has previously emphasised that he had finally found God told Showbiz in a statement that he is now under new management, which he will announce to his fans and the public soon.

“Let me take this time to announce the end of my contract with Black Money Makers. It was an honour and privilege to have undergone their ostentatious mentorship over the years.”

The musician whose real name is Aminoni Mujokeri further thanked Vee for playing a very significant role not only in his music but personal life. The Tshaba tsotsi hitmaker emphasised that his departure from BMM does not end both business and personal relations with Vee Mampeezy.

The artist, who recently worked with Vee Mampeezy in a song titled Unconquerable, said he will continue to learn from his mentor.

“He is a brand and a brother who has conquered the world in many ways,” he said. Mingo Touch’s kasi hardened gravel voice has been compared to Vee’s and now the mentee takes on a route of his own and embarks on a trip to find his way back to the top.

at events being a priority after the unfortunate past incident at the Gaborone International Music and Culture Week (GIMC), he stated that there will be a total of 400 security personnel that will be operating at the National Stadium and surrounding areas such as the GSS grounds.

 

“There will be a shuttle service for revelers that are driving from the parking bay to the venue,” he highlighted. Meanwhile the Nigerian acts such as Burna Boy and Wiz Kid will be in the capital city two days before the event where they will facilitate workshops with local musicians.  

Some of the local acts that will perform at the event are Ban T, Scar, Chrispin the Drummer, Team Distant, Mr Yummy, BK Proctor, DJ Cody, Ammo Ski Mask, DJ Phouboy, Mlesho, Groovy Souls, NT Base, DJ Ricky Lamar, Darkboy Masey, DJ De Javu, DJ Khenzo, DJ Anthem, Strictly Housebound, DJ Ndox, WNDR, DJ Cupid, DJ Kenn, Luzkat and Drak.
