According to the fashion show coordinator Nicole Roberts, RVK is a global reaching fashion organisation tailored for the fashion artistic in Africa and other parts of the world. Roberts said as a global voice for fashion, RVK had fashion designers and models from all over Botswana and Africa at large.

Roberts was nominated to represent Botswana at the very first RVK show in 2014 where she had an opportunity to meet and mingle with designers from all over Africa.

She has showcased her talent for the vey first time at Botswana Fashion Extravaganza in March 2016 and later showcased her work at EmpireFashion page and Pula Power.

“Our focus on the now and dedication and cultural relevance means we have been creating pivotal moments in time for all the projects we have handled since our inception, ensuring that with every single project we go an extra mile to ensure that our events exceeds our clients expectations. We take great pride in our work,” she said.

Roberts said the event would be showcasing local and international brands. She said even though the event’s main objective is to give local fashion designers the limelight, it would not be complete if they left out international designers.

She said local designers who will be showcasing their products are Carol B. Andrew, Irene Phutietsile of Irox Designs, De’Pearlee, Lynnette Phuthego of Vintage Hunies and Hunks, Kobamelo Diphuphu of Super, Moses Motlhatlhedi of Mos Atelier Haus, Skaots by Nicole and Thabiso, Junior Khupe Designs and Obonetse Originals.

The international designers and fashion houses that will showcase their master pieces are RVK and Deep Bow and Gerhardt Shebe Creations both from South Africa, Sarah World from Zambia, Momoche from Ivory Coast, Enlivened from Swaziland, HB designs from Zimbabwe and Zoe Kernel from Malawi.

“This fashion show is not just for models and designers to showcase their work and ends there.

Both models and designers stand a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to showcase their talents at the next RVK fashion show that will be held in one of the African countries that would be confirmed at a later stage,” she said.

Local artists who will be entertaining the revelers will be Team Distant, Raw Pillars of Art, Dj Tosh, Dj Culture and Dj Dejavu.
