The artist, who has been a darling to a number of people over the years due to her dance skills and music had not released any new content for more than two years, which left many wondering if she is still in the industry.

“It’s not like I had been quiet, I was busy working with other artists such as Euphonik, Arthur and Professor. Some of the songs have gone to win awards. So it’s not like I have been quiet I had just been away from the media. Later on I went to work on my project, which is about to be released and the single Zozela Zalala is already out,” Chomee said.

Her latest single, Zozela Zalala was released recently on the South African airwaves and is slowly spreading across the region. The track carries the Naija Afro pop vibe infused with Chomee’s dance music style. The song is more of a motivational scripture to women going through issues in their relationships.

Describing the context of the song Chomee said: “Zozela Zolala means if you snooze you lose, time waits for no one. In the song we talk about what we want as women, we are so easy that if I am with you and you are able to respect me I will treat you like a King”.

Promoting the single in the country, Chomee stated that this is a bid to take her music around the continent that is why she had to come to Botswana for a media tour that saw her going around different media houses.

Her album Do More Squats will be released this week. “On this project I worked with a number of people such as Bongani Fassie, Nokwazi, Brickz, Professor and Arthur to mention but a few”. She says the album was inspired by conversations she had with women and decided to do a project that will help motivate them more despite what they are going through.

Upon the release of her album, Chomee is scheduled to stage a performance in Botswana on a date yet to be announced.
