Deep Mayer aims to revolutionise house music

Deep Mayer says as the innovator in deep and soulful house music, he blasts a blitz of energy, which drives his avid fans around the world into a raving frenzy every time he performs.
Deejaying has become a fulltime business for Deep Mayer who has received international recognition as his music receives airplay in South Africa and as far as Germany in a Deep Inspiration Show Hosted by Jazzman.
He says his love for house music started in 2001 and was inspired by the South African label called Soul Candy. He told Showbiz that even though he grew up in an era of RnB and hip hop, he still fell in love with house music. In 2014 he dropped a single, Long centuries under Nerd Inc. He said he dropped more music with South African label and did very well. Kamiwa added that he ended up being featured on compilation with records labels from Spain, UK, Detroit, South Africa, Germany and the US.
He said after the work that he had done more doors opened for him and in 2014 August he became a member of Deep House FreQuensi, a group of four Deejays based in Selebi-Phikwe, doing history together with Duos also taking part on big outdoor, indoor events, parties and corporate events.
“My musical influences range from classic, soundtracks, soul and jazz, deep house and dub. As a producer, my music draws deeply from the legacy of Chicago and Detroit, yet somehow manages to end up sounding as fresh as a daisy”, he said.
