The Ho Tseba Modimo singer will soon be releasing two gospel songs with Radebe. According to Sengwaketse’s manager, Reuben Lekoetje from Rhuu’s Music, the collaboration came after Radebe, who has just penetrated the South African music industry, approached them for collaboration.

He also said it was an advantage to grow Obakeng as an artist as the SA artist was doing well since his inception in the industry.

“We felt collaborating with such an artist will give us a room to grow faster and learn at the same time.

This will also help us showcase our skills. Even though the two gentlemen have agreed to work together, we are still working on the songs and intend to record them soon,” he said.

Radebe has a new album titled Story of God’s Grace. The album has 16 tracks that include Ebernezer Intro and Jeso Wamakatsa featuring Teboho Mafa. Meanwhile, Sengwaketse under the management of Lekoetje is growing as a brand on a daily basis. The Best Traditional Gospel award winner has not only spread his wings on the local gospel music scenes as he has gained recognition on the international music platform.

The young man has earned himself an invitation to South Africa’s famous gospel awards, SABC Crown Gospel Awards that would be taking place at ICC Durban Arena this weekend.

He has also earned himself a number of interviews with SA’s various media companies that include print, radio and television. According to Lekoetje, they are working towards Sengwake’s Ho Tseba Modimo launch next year to be followed later by a country tour.

“We intend to give this album that is filled with beautiful hymns and has the ability to lift spirits and change lives all exposure we necessary can.

We intend to donate part of the profits made during the launch to a charity organisation, as our aim is to also take care and give back to the underprivileged members of the society more especially those in remote rural areas.

This is because these are the kind of people that we tend to forget or neglect,” he said. The launch will be held in March 2018 and the date and venue are yet to be confirmed.
