Senoko told Showbiz he wants to produce music that carries important messages concerning the lives of people as well as to prove that gospel music is a tool that is proper to transmit such important messages.

“From an early age I developed interest in music by Mzambiya, who at that age was a very young boy.  I thought to myself, if he can do it, I can also do it,” he said.

He added that he drew a lot of inspiration from a wide range of musicians and completely fell in love with music, so he began writing when he was 14-years-old.

He said with time his song writing skill grew and he instantly developed interest in rap. Senoko highlighted that it was through his participation in school variety shows and different rap battles that he improved his rapping.

“I formed a group called D3i with one of my home boys where we did hip hop and we recorded some songs together, which were even playing on our local radio stations and television,” he said.

He added that they shot videos for two tracks which were well received across the country; tracks like Love Pain feat D.Nice and Blow It.

He added that they also recorded a jingle for DJ Sly, who is currently working for RB2 for his weekly radio show, Easy Drive.

“We made another jingle for Trial fm (University Of Botswana Radio Station) for the mask off show, which was hosted by Letumile ‘Lets’ Montsosa, who is currently working at Duma fm,” he said.

Senoko said later on his lifestyle changed; he got born-again at Forward in Faith Church where he decided to be a solo artist and did pure gospel music as it is something that suits his lifestyle.

He writes songs both in Setswana and English.

“I believe that my music will help our nation more especially the youth to be able to know and appreciate that Jesus died for our sins and also to teach people out there about the wonders of God if they invite him in their lives,” he said.

Senoto said he recorded his first gospel single track at DNX Records (Dubblin Productions) titled Halleluyah and shot its video with Perfect 7 motion in 2015.

He added that it played on Btv’s Melodi Ya Kgalaletso programme as well as in SABC1’s Gospel Gold and Ezekiel TV in Zimbabwe.

“I get massive support from my church mates, friends and family more especially when they see my videos playing on TV,” he said.

His future plan is to drop another single on September 29 this year, which is going to be produced by NealBeatZ Production (Oneal Makwati). He said that he would like to work with different local gospel artists in the future including Tshepo Lesole, Vusi, Thuso Tiego and Joel Keitumele as well as international artists like Benjamin Dube, Sello Malete and Kim Walker.
