Legae breaks SA jail

Botswana Police Service (BPS) is appealing to the public to help with information that could lead to the arrest of a 24 year old who comes from Kanye village.

Legae is wanted by the police for various criminal offences including robbery, rape and attempted murder that he and his accomplices committed since 2016.

He skipped bail and escaped to South Africa where he was arrested and remanded in police custody pending extradition to Botswana.

The suspect is believed to be armed and extremely dangerous therefore the public is urged to approach him with caution.

Police plead with anyone with information should contact the nearest police.
