The agency prides its self in concept and experiential events. Why is it important to have an etiquette event?  It helps us show respect and consideration to others and makes others glad that we are with them. Without proper manners and etiquette, the customs of polite society would soon disappear and we would act more like animals and less like people.

The Women’s Etiquette Brunch is for women of all walks who wish to polish and learn etiquette. Candice Muir or Art of Etiquette an accredited school will give lessons on Social, Business and Table Etiquette. To unpack each of the aforementioned we have different professionals who are founders of their own businesses taking the stage to speak and do demos. There will be a stylist, Nollie Ngwria of Nostalgic and Cloth, make up artist, Bojelo Marari of Beejaeys; make up and hair technician Ben David of Hair Essential.

Health and Wellness is equally important in creating a balanced individual. Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Health and Wellness, Shenaaz El Halabi will be speaking on the topic. Brunch will be served, there will have a Q&A segment. WEB17 is anticipated to be educational and interactive

Some may even question its place within the borders of the Setswana culture. However in Setswana Botho is taught from a young age across ‘classes’, to take pride in oneself and their actions this translates to what in the western world is called etiquette. “Women’s Etiquette Brunch is for this reason open to all women, often asked who the target market is, it is all women, before being a mom, CEO, wife, nurse, nanny, hairdresser, driver or teller. You are a woman first. This event aids to work as a reminder of the little things we forget due to our fast paced world. The use of social media and technology have us losing sight of person to person interaction.

“With situations such as the Gaborone bus rank incident we find ourselves even more encouraged to host such an event. To open channels of communication amongst different women. This is not to be confused with our stance on the incident. As much as one of our lessons is How to dress appropriately.  Appropriate is relative, also what may be deemed inappropriate does not warrant any action against said inappropriate individuals. At the end of the day we all have freedom”.

Tickets for the event are available from computicket while you can contact Michelle for more information on 71619565. Thesponsors are Mmegi, Grand Palm, Yarona Fm, Couture Confections, Leilealu catering and House of Kay. Stalls include Priestly Royal Fashions and Weaves and Wigs Express.
