Young woman jumps to her death from Youth ministry

BPS deputy public relations officer, senior superintendent Near Bagali told Mmegi in an interview that investigations on the matter are ongoing to establish the cause of her death.
“After the incident the emergency services were called for a rescue and she was taken to Gaborone Private Hospital (GPH) where she was certified dead by the doctors on arrival. We are yet to establish her real names and where she comes from,” said Bagali.
The ministry security guards stationed by the reception and parking area said they heard a loud bang of the body hitting the glass ceiling before it went through to the concrete floor where she fell face first.
The victim lied unconscious in front of the main entrance of the Ministry headquarters and was later whisked away by the paramedics.
Shocked ministry officials who narrated the story to Mmegi said the young lady arrived at the seventh floor of the building asking for one ministry staff member who is a messenger (name known to this publication) and was told the person is based at the sixth floor.
She is said to have asked to use a toilet before going down to the sixth floor. The young lady is reported to have spent over 30-minutes inside the seventh floor toilet before she allegedly jumped through the toilet window.
According to some ministry officials who met the young lady, she did not show any obvious signs of distress and they did not suspect anything bad other than a stomach bug when she took forever in the toilet.
