Indian High Commission donates food hampers

Patrick Ralotsia, Minister of Agricultural Development and Food Security and H.E. Dr. Ketan Shukla, High Commissioner of India distributed the food hampers to Batswana in the rural villages of Ntlhantlhe and Lekgolobotlo at Kanye North. Kgosi Orekeng from Ntlhantlhe village and Kgosi Mokabedi from Lekgolobotlo village from Kanye North expressed their gratitude and welcomed the gesture.

The High Commissioner highlighted the role of Bank of Baroda for serving the people of Botswana. He said Bank of Baroda believed in giving back to the society where it earns its profits by contributing to social development, helping the needy and vulnerable sections of the society and is contributing for creating better education and health services to the needy sections of the society, which was reiterated by Ralotsia.

The High Commissioner also highlighted the role of Botswana Hindu Society and Shiv Pariwar for serving the people of Botswana in social work.

He highlighted the bilateral co-operation between India and Botswana in various sectors like Education, Health, Culture, IT, Trade and Defence and charity work done during BOT-50.

Ralotsia praised the activities done by High Commission of India and noble gesture by the Bank of Baroda.
