Mr Ibu Coming To Botswana

The comedy gig will be held on September 1 at Ba Isago University. This will be his first ever performance in Botswana. Mr Ibu is no stranger to many people in the country as they have previously watched him in a number of Nigerian movies such as Mr Ibu in London, Police Recruit, 9 Wives, Mr Ibu and Keziah where they quickly fell in love with his a funny antics.

The GIMC team surprised the Botswana audience by recently announcing that Mr Ibu will be perfoming at the comedy gig through their Facebook page as they have also uploaded the Nigerian comic promoting the show.

“Lets me again now in Botswana on the 1st of September in Gabz GIMC LETS come together lets welcome other individuals from other nations, we need to laugh,” said Mr Ibu in one of the videos uploaded by the GIMC team online.

However Mr Ibu will be performing at the GIMC comedy show with a group of comedians such as Phenyo The Master, Mawee, Tips Shampoo, Thapelo Malani and Funny Man.

Over the years GIMC comedy has shown diversity, as it has invited comedians from different African countries such as Zimbabwe, Nigeria, South Africa and Uganda. The growth of audience numbers has also shown how they are appreciated in the country.

African comics such as Patrick Idringi Salvado, Doc Vikela, Basketmouth, Enigma and Trevor Gumbi, to mention but a few, have been here.
