Mwaampule Masule 5

The goalkeeper positioned himself well to make a few saves.

He came out brilliantly to deny Gift Motupa a scoring chance in the 67th minute. However, he lacked control of his central defenders who at times seemed lost.

Thabo Leinanyane 4

The right quarter back was rooted at the back and failed to aid the attack, which killed the attacking options for the team.

Simisani Mathumo 5

Made two schoolboy errors for his standard, that led to the opponents’ goals.  First, he committed himself with a tackle when he was the last man and then his poor judgement saw him miss a spectacular clearance in the box when he could have stood his ground and cleared the ball.

Sylvester Leririma 5

The two centre backs lacked understanding and communication. They did not only fail to defend well when they were called too, but could also not initiate the play.

Kaelo Kgaswane 4

He was just there, a left quarter back. He never came to the party and looked drained in the second half. Mosha Gaolaolwe 5 He was deployed in a new role as a deep sitting midfielder, which looked a bit complex for him. He was drained by the South Africans and failed to stamp authority.

Richard Legwaila 5

He was pushed too deep and his passes were either into positions that were not threatening or untimely. Alongside Gaolaolwe, they failed to make the team play.

Kabelo Seakanyeng 6.5

He was the only livewire for the Zebras. Made a few attempts although wayward. He posted a number of crosses, but was let down by his held back teammates.

Hendrick Moyo 4

He had his threatening moments in the box but his crosses were thwarted. He had a spark on the ball, but was nowhere off the ball.

TumisangOrebonye 5.5

Lack of supply up front forced him out of position. He was over working outside the box for a man who is supposed to find the net.

Thero Setsile 3

He had the worst game for a wing attacker. He failed to provide crosses and also played almost all of his passes backward.

Substitutes

Lemponye Tshireletso 4

He came in and failed to improve the game, however calmed the nerves and helped the team with possession.

Thabang Sesinyi 3

He was a shadow of himself. He was slow and looked fatigued.

Tapiwa Gadibolae 2

No impact whatsoever.
