ATI switches focus to selling copies

He said he is targeting selling 100,000 copies of his new album, Envelope. He said the album will be launched again in Serowe on December 23, after been launched recently in Gaborone.
“I have gone beyond marketing this album and I am focused in the second phase of pushing the units,” he said.
“Batswana appreciate my music and I owe it to them, I believe with the response I have got I can reach over 100,000 sales of copies,” he said.
ATI is in some roller coaster of a schedule this festive season thanks to the fertile year he has had. At some point, Lekhete as he is affectionately known, was a finished man.
Lekhete raised from the ashes the Khiring Khorong hit and he instantly has all revellers and event promotions organisers feeding from his palm.
He is not faded by the tight schedule that in fact has been tight and demanding since the single Khiring Khorong dropped.
Last weekend he returned from South Africa where he performed at Mahika Mahikeng festival alongside compatriot Amantle Brown.
Next week he will be hitting stages in Mozambique at Sesolo Island festival, where he is invited alongside DR Vom, the Tsaya Thobane hit maker.
Back at home Christmas party is no party without ATI, this weekend he had ten Christmas parties lined up.
On December 23 he has two shows on the same night; his launch at My Destiny Farm in Serowe at the Born and Raised festival and the Nzipo Ka Marobela festive festival in Marobela, some 300 km apart.
On Christmas Eve he will be travelling over a 1,000 kilometres in one day and at short period of times to fulfill four bookings.
He breaks the day in Bobonong where he will be launching a Shaw Kgathi sponsored football tournament. In the evening he will perform at Home Coming in Mahalapye then at the Re Mmogo Annual Festival in Tonota before heading back to Bobonong for the Bobirwa Festive punch all in one night.
His bookings do not end on Christmas as he is also booked for among other top festivals, Morobosi on New Years Eve in the hills of Tswapong.
“My schedule is hectic but I am energetic self and I am ready mentally and physically. I am working hard and I am doing this to help my mother and other people who really need my help.” He added, “I am saying this because people are putting pressure on me to support their ideas and they forget I was born in a family”.
“Everyone is demanding money from me and they are making my life difficult and I want to put it out that people I don’t have money. I am just a hard worker.’’
