The girl who is doing Standard 7 at a Mahalapye primary school was recently crowned Little Miss Mahalapye where she outclassed her peers.

“I am very passionate when it comes to pageants and modelling, I have always wanted to show the world my goals and dreams through pageantry and modelling. My main aim is to represent Botswana at Miss World in the future because I am certain that I would have gained all the experience that is required,” the confident Baipoledi told Showbiz.

After having gone through mentorship and different pageantry drills, Baipoledi mentioned before her route to Miss World she wants to contest in provincial and national pageants such as Miss Mahalapye, Miss Universe Botswana and Miss Botswana with an aim of winning the crown.

Baipoledi still has six years to go before she is eligible to compete in pageants such as Miss Botswana whereby eligible contestants should be 18 years old and above.

Through her passion the young lass stated that it is her wish to sensitise her peers that they should not allow age to restrict them from achieving their dreams.

“With time I have learnt that no matter your age you can achieve anything you want to do in life and also learn new things.  I would also love to encourage them to be involved in different activities such as sport so they avoid indulging in alcohol. Education is the key to success,” she highlighted.

Apart from being a beauty queen the young model said she wants to be a medical doctor and her dream tertiary school is Oxford University because she thinks it is a good environment for her.
