The crowd that looked splendid in their vintage wears turned back the hands of time for a while, as they just looked gorgeous in their late ’60s, ’70s, ’80s and ’90s fashion wears. Even though every year that goes by, people honour the ’80s and ’90s as the decades for fashion’s best trends ever and many new ones evolved from there. The revellers that attended the mentioned event attested to this.

The crowd, which was an integration of both, the youth and the old folks looked smashing in the bright neon colours for the women’s fashion and the suit and t-shirt combinations for men. Some even went to the extent of wearing wigs to make the olden days look complete.

As for the music, the DJs in the likes of Tonycrazy, Cutrite, Kyle, Juicy, Sid Lover and others provided sterling entertainment to the ‘grown and sexy’ revellers. The music provided an escape into the past decades of soothing music provided by well-experienced DJs on the night. The music took the older generations back to the ’80s and ’90s when they were in their young days as they reminisced about it. The DJs played various music genres ranging from pop, disco, kwaito, R&B, rap and hip-hop.

Amongst the DJs that made the night even more interesting was DJ Jazzy Dee from South Africa who changed the game and took the crowd that was already in the urban classic train into its youthful years with his endless classic jams that got many begging for more.

He played one hit song after another. His ability to intergrade various music genres got the audience singing along as many got their groove on dancing the night away.

The event coordinator, Joel Entaile earlier on had said the event targeted 30-year-olds and above for an audience and those who used to be regulars at places like Nightshift, Club 585, BluNote, Club Hollywood to name a few.
