Tarz-B to perform in Uganda

Tarz-B told Showbiz that he was invited by a promoter called Clien of Team Africans Company.  He said the company is for general art as it promotes music, comedy and drama. When quizzed about how he came to be in contact with the promoter, Tarz-B said he produced a single in 2016 titled Shake Dada, which featured SBC Crew in Florida. He said it was shared online and reached many countries.

“The Ugandan promoter got interested and contacted me for more songs.

Apparently, my music has a very large following outside Botswana and in

Uganda I am told they like my flavour so much,” Tarz-B said. He said when they received his songs they played them at radio stations, which increased demand hence following the invitation. Tarz-B said he is looking forward to performing alongside P-Square, who is also billed at the event.

Apart from his trip to Uganda, Tarz-B said he has an upcoming hot winter single titled Motho Fa Motho, featuring Slizer of Ke Ngwana wa Mang fame.

He said the idea came from the fact that in life there are some people who want to benefit from others yet they are not willing to help others.

“Women in particular, love getting favours from men, but they are reluctant to return the favour when needed. So I want to enlighten my followers that it is good to be given and also important to give back,” he said.

He told Showbiz that the single was produced by Bullet Ketshabile and Uncle Touch at Touch Records in Gaborone. Tarz-B said Motho Fa Motho is a fusion of mbaqanga and motswako. “The song does not deviate much from my original style of motswako rapping on local instruments because I believe in making the audience dance while enjoying the fun lyrics on the chorus”.

He said Slizer did her best on the song with her sexy voice, which gives the song a unique flavour and melody. Tarz-B said the single is expected to be out by mid-July.

“I will for the first time perform the song this month at Palapye Community Hall alongside Charma Gal on the Mokolodi tour,” he said.
