Caring Motovac rebuilds Magapatona Clinic

That is what led to the formation of MV Cares. MV Cares is responsible solely for identifying areas of need in every community that Motovac operates in and finding ways to help out. This year MV Cares decided to focus on the second Pillar of Botswana’s Vision for 2036: Human Social Development.

By 2036 Motovac would like to have contributed to Botswana being a moral, tolerant and inclusive society that provides opportunities for all. Thus, they decided to provide better healthcare to the local community of Magapatona by upgrading their clinic.

This is not the first clinic that Motovac has re‐built. In 2013, the group upgraded a clinic in Gabane. At the time Motovac Group board members committed to re‐building an additional clinic within the near future in an effort to provide better access to healthcare for the people of Botswana.

This project is 95% done and the clinic will be handed over to the Magapatona community early next year.

Motovac (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1983 with one garage and two team members. It has now grown to a formidable network across Botswana. The leaders of the Motovac Group of Companies are visionaries with a keen sense of identifying customers’ needs and developing the products and network to provide them.

The Motovac Group of Companies now has a presence in Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. The group encompasses several different companies within several industries including Flotek Plastic Manufacturing, Delta Pharmaceuticals, Dunlop Zone, Vintage Travel & Tours and of course, their flagship brand of automotive spare parts ‐ Motovak.
