The Investigating Officer, detective senior superintendent Sergeant Marapo revealed this when giving evidence before Magistrate Lechane Oto today (Wednesday).

Marapo also asked for the reinstatement of Ncube’s armed robbery case that was withdrawn after he was granted bail and disappeared in 2014.

He said following suspicisions that the Ncube’s passport might be fraudulent he went to Tlokweng border post to check if it was genuine and discovered that the passport number belongs to Ndoro not Ncube.

He told court that the copy of the accused persons’ fingerprints and copy of his fraudulent passport has been sent to Interpol Harare to check his true identity and they are awaiting response.
