Former Ngami Times Editor dies

According to The Ngami Times Editor, Keto Segwai, the deceased has been struggling with heart problems. 

He said on Monday the deceased collapsed and hit his head on the ground sustaining injuries that are believed to have led to his death. 

Chandler was born 78 years in United Kingdom.

He started working as journalist for The Evening Post in Port Elizabeth in 1957. He then joined The Star newspaper where he worked for decades before returning back home in the 1970’s.

Chandler came to Botswana to set up The Ngami Times in 1999.
