G-North murder accused denies charges

The residents of Oodi village in the Kgatleng district, Ntesi, Phemelo Tshelang, Gorata Sebego and Patrick Gaile, are alleged to have murdered Ramapulane on the night of August 28, 2013 at Gaborone North farms. 

Testifying before Chief Justice Maruping Dibotelo this morning, Ntesi claimed that investigating officer, detective constable Tlamelo Matshaba is trying to incriminate him in the matter.

“It is not true that I led the police to the crime scene after we were arrested. I also did not record any statement. I have been falsely accused for a crime I did not commit,” he said.

Last year, Matshaba told the court that the accused voluntarily pointed out metal rods used to assault the deceased and bolt cutters that they used to break into the yard.

The case continues.
