Nkomazana to languish behind bars

 

This being the case after the prosecution applied for extension of his remand warrant yesterday.

Gaborone regional magistrate, Chris Gabanagae this morning extended the accused remand warrant after prosecutor, Relentse Mosarwane told the court that investigations into the matter are still ongoing. 

The accused has been in police custody since he was arrested and charged for several crimes in 2016.  He has been charged alongside 12 others in 11 different counts. 

The 12 are attorney Letlhogonolo Makgane, Billy Molefe, Motlalepula Molefe, attorney Bhekimpilo Moyo, Tebogo Edwin Koketso, Ketshepile Sharon Lempehu, Jerico Murima, Othusitse Seoke, Daniel Gasefiwe, Keothupilwe Aobakwe, Levy Mosweu and Pula Joseph.

His fellow accused persons have applied for separation of trials.

Ruling for the application has been set for March 2, 2018, while Nkomazana has been ordered to return to court for mention on February 5.
