The event, which is part of the many activation parties before the main annual Jameson Connects event to be held in March, will start at 2pm on Sunday. Entrance for the Sunday event is free before 6pm; then attendees who come after 6pm would pay P50 as entrance fee.

In a brief telephone interview with Showbiz, one of the event organisers Michael Hall, who is also community manager at Pernod Ricard Sub-Saharan Africa said the event promises another good experience with a line-up of Djs to provide entertainment. DJs include DJ Zoo, Mr O, DJ Benny-T, DJ T-Man, DJ Da S, DJ Chrispin the Drummer, DJ Shimrock and DJ Ms. Daisy.

Hall said that there would also be a football competition, with the winners set to play the winners from the Yacht Club event held on December 1, 2017 during the main event in March.

“The aim of the event is to tap into the friends’ passion point of music to create the ultimate bond and connect moment and build up to the main Jameson Connects Botswana in March this year. We want to create an experience that is locally relevant, has a premium edge, focuses on building brand advocacy,” he said.

Hall said the event promises to deliver a Jameson bond and connect experience through some of the activities - from the bespoke cocktails and gourmet braai with special Jameson sauce by Cigar Lounge, the Spin and Win competition.
