Dibotelo to open Legal Year

February 6, 2018 has been marked as the official commencement of hearing of cases.  According to the Administration of Justice (AoJ) the event will be held at the High Court in Gaborone from 7:30am.

Other speakers include the Attorney General Advocate Abraham Keetshabe and the chaiperson of the Law Society of Botswana (LSB) Kgalalelo Monthe.

“The occasion will bring together amongst others judicial officers (judges, registrars and magistrates), senior government officials, members of the LSB, Members of Parliament and members of the diplomatic corps.  On this day there will be no court sessions save for matters deemed to be urgent,” the AoJ public relations officer, Clement Sibanda explained.
