Kedikilwe said this during the media briefing on the mandate of BOU, which was held at the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology (MoTE) offices today.
Kedikilwe said open learning allows learners to enroll and study for a course of their choice whilst engaged with other things, because they study during their spare times. He called on people not to look down on open learning, but to consider its education like any other education system offered in other schools.
He stated that open learning gives people the opportunity to reshape their future, especially those who would have not performed well in their previous schools.
