Moshotle was nowhere to be seen on Tuesday when his accomplices appeared in the case in which they are accused of robbing and murdering Jacob Bogatsu near the Caltex filling station by Zoom nightclub last October.

Two members of the group, Batshane Montsho and Mphoyaone Sedio, also face charges of violently robbing Botshelo Selabe and Patrick Jautse in separate incidents.

Magistrate Ntombizodwa Ncube issued Moshotle’s warrant of arrest after the suspect was nowhere to be found in court.

Meanwhile, inspector Motlalepula Selelo told Ncube that investigations in all the matters are complete and prosecutors are ready to refer the docket to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.

“The investigating officer has informed me that they have completed investigations and have received all the forensic affidavits and statements,” she said. In the last mention, the prosecution had requested to extract the blood samples of the accused to take them for DNA analysis to see if it matches samples collected at the scene.
