The bubbly 25-year-old caught up with Showbiz as she spoke about her hidden musical talent, which has left many in awe.

“Music has always been part of me ever since I was young. I have been part of a singing group at church and my family members have been part of the church choir as well. I come from a musical background. My cousin and sister make up the musical duo, Marabi and I have always appreciated the technicality of music,” she said.

She noted that being a professional musician had always been part of her plan but the tv job came before she stepped into the music industry which she says was a good move for her musical career.

With time she was introduced to DJ Kuchi who took her to his studio and worked on a song, which is yet to be released. “DJ Kuchi helped to build my confidence in the studio during that period. Favi was also there and he even helped me with coming up with approaching melodies,” she said.

After the DJ Kuchi collaboration, she received a call from Lizibo who had always known about Sadi’s musical expertise and appreciation for choral music. The two recorded a song titled True love, which is a clear indicator that Sadi is not only a tv host but also a soulful songstress.

“I was very nervous when Lizibo called me. This is an award winning professional musician who wanted me to feature on his song. I got more nervous when I found Tshepo Lesole at the studio. After recording Tshepo Lesole urged me to do something about my music career because he saw something in me”.

The tv host noted that she is currently trying to find her path in the music industry as she experiments with different sounds to see where she fits. “I am very versatile when it comes to music. I have already written some songs that I have been compiling from way back. Being a music presenter does not mean that my music career will blossom. I have to start from the bottom and grow as a musician.”
