Five Batswana men stab Zim man to death

The five suspects’ ages range between 16 years and 27 years according to police assistant public relations officer senior superintendent Near Bagali.

Bagali explained that the five Batswana men allegedly got into a fight with three Zimbabwean men at a bar at Thomadithotse ward on Saturday night.

He said one of the suspects had earlier got into an argument with the three Zimbabweans at a certain bar in Thomadithotse.

He left the trio for different drinking hole, still in the same locality.

The Zimbabweans later followed the young man where upon they found him with friends.

The argument resumed and the fight ensued, that is when one of the Zimbabweans was allegedly stabbed to death with a sharp object.

“We have arrested the five young men to help us with investigations. We want to establish who stabbed the deceased. Investigations are still at preliminary stages and the Zimbabwean men are also available to assist us with investigations,” Bagali said.
