DJ Obza of Skim sa bosigo told Showbiz that he started the tour in 2015 but it has only picked up momentum this year.  He said as someone who has been hosting the show for over a decade now, it was necessary to go out there and interact with his fans.  “They have only heard my voice, but never seen my face.

I am doing this for them,” he said.  Mokobi said he decided to take the tour to Sese near Jwaneng in order to capitalise on the Toyota 1,000km desert race.

“Usually, I compete in this race under the bike category,” he said, adding “but this year I decided to sit out in order to do this for my Night Crawlers fans”.

DJ Obza, who also hosts Evening Shades on Sundays, said he has already hosted two shows in Mahalapye and Gumare and intends to take future tours to places such as Tsabong, Maun or Kasane.

He added that the show has grown in leaps and bounds and fans have been insisting that he visits other places.

“The show has grown over the years. It is a brand because people believe in consistency,” he said.  DJ Obza said the show is not only about him as he engaged other DJs.

Performing on the night will be DJ Fondo Fire, Yung Mula, Eddie and DJ Obza himself. He said the trick is to make the show annual and not stop in Jwaneng.
