Man Burns To Death Inside Car

The accident happened along the Francistown-Tati Siding road near Precious Filling Station.
Kutlwano police station commander, Neo Serumola confirmed the incident saying four people - three men and one woman - occupied the car.
Serumola said: “We received a report on Thursday afternoon that a car had overturned near Precious Filling Station. When we arrived at the scene, we found the car burning and it later exploded”.
Serumola added that they found the 73-year-old man trapped inside the car, but fortunately others who were inside the car with him managed to get out.
The survivors, Serumola stated, sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment where they were later released.
Serumola said investigations are still ongoing to find out what may have caused the accident.
Eyewitnesses who passed near the accident scene said the car allegedly overturned after its driver, who was reportedly driving at an excessive speed, failed to negotiate a curve.
