Magistrate tells murder accused to apply for bail at High Court

Mogotsi who was appearing for mention before Extension II magistrate, Batho Kgerethwa, pleaded to be granted bail despite having been previously denied the opportunity.

Asked if he has anything to say Mogotsi pleaded with court to grant him bail, stating that he will be staying with his family at Tlokweng village and will make sure that he attends court when needed.

“The issue of your bail has been dealt with in the past, I do not know why you are raising it again, but if you are not satisfied with the decision of this court you have the right to go and apply for your bail at the High Court,” Kgerethwa said.
