EM aims to  inspire individuals who want to be  entrepreneurs, who are already one and the ones who failed as entreprenures by setting them in the right mindset through motivational talks and guidance.

The founder of EM, Mokwena  said that the workshop was a success compared to the one they hosted last December, still in Selebi-Phikwe. She said people who came in  large numbers were participating during the workshop and most of them are determined to take their businesses to in another level.

'We are very greatful  to Selebi-Phikwe residents, entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, youth and everyone who made the workshop possible. It  is promising to see people concerned about   creating and improving their own businesses,' she said.

Mokwena said the theme of the workshop which was 'building a legacy from your hobby'  was achieved  because they realised that most people actually were inspired by their hobbies to create their own businesses like catering (cooking).

She said that some people left the venue with the mindset to capitalise on their hobbies to create bussiness.

'We discussed about entrepreneurship at large, passion that a business requires, managing others, expanding your business, staying motivated, communication skills, marketing, the mindset of entrepreneurs, amongst others,'she said.

She added that they gave opportunity to two youth , Pearl Mahamotho and Dumelang Shomana who are interested in public speaking to share entrepreneurship with attendants.

She however noted that they are still going to take EM to the people across the country, saying that on February 24, they will be at Francistown and Maun on March 24 and other dates and places will be disclosed with time.

'Our aim is to change the mindset of people who are already entrepreneurs, who want to be entrepreneurs and as well as who  failed to be and put them in the right business  mindset so that they don’t collapse,' Mokwena said. She further said that she is gratetful of people who showed interest in contributing towards their remaining trips, the photographer and make-up artist for giving them their services for free.

For her part, EM marketing manager, Keikutlwetse expressed her gratitudes to all the people who turned up and their partners for making EM workshop  fruitful at the end.

'I like the fact that youth came in numbers since we are targeting them to use most of their energies on creating and managing their businesses. We managed to empower them and I believe that they will use what they learnt in the workshop to start their businesses,' she said. She saidat the workshop they interacted a lot to exchange ideas and knowledge on how to be successful entrepreneurs.
