SANA Hardware donates to the elderly

In an interview after donating food hampers to the elderly at Kgosing ward in Thamaga recently, Arshaan said since establishing their business in 2005, it was time to thank the community for their support for the growth of his business ever since.

“We donate food hampers such as bread every Friday to the elderly, as there is a saying, ‘half al loaf is better than nothing’. We also have an arrangement in place where we collaborate with other businesses to donate building materials to the underprivileged,” Arshaan said.

Arshaan said as Thamaga businessmen, they are inspired by the spirit of thanksgiving and that it is in the holy book that, we should support each other.

“We believe in giving back and as a way of thanking the people of Thamaga for supporting our business, hence we also focus more on those that are no longer productive to work or living in underprivileged conditions,” Arshaan shared.

Meanwhile, councillor for Kgosing ward, Pulane Piet, commended SANA Hardware management for recognising the vulnerable people in Thamaga. “It is important to note that Haddadi brothers are not only looking at utilising their business profits elsewhere, but they have shown kind hearts to help the needy, a gesture we really appreciate.

So far, according to Piet, SANA continues to support five families with monthly P500 worth of groceries.
