UB former lovebirds recovering

The female student was with her roommate last Thursday when her alleged ex-boyfriend visited her and attacked her. 

During the visit the duo got into an argument that lead to the ‘jealous ex-boyfriend’ violently stabbing her numerous times with a pair of scissors.

Central police station commander, superintendent Mothusi Phadi has disclosed that the female student who was in critical condition is now recuperating.

“The police visited her and they found her in a promising condition because she managed to have a word with her parents for the first time after the incident.

Even the boyfriend is recovering and his parents have separated them and have moved him to Bokamoso Private Hospital,” Phadi said.

The female is still at the Princess Marina Hospital.

On that fateful evening leading to the stabbing, the young woman had asked her ex-boyfriend to give her space, something that enraged him.

He then stabbed himself with the same pair of scissors in an effort to kill himself.
