Prosecution ready in Tlokweng gruesome murder case

This is the case in which 34-year-old Kediemetse Mogotsi is accused of murdering Maria Lesolebe in Tlokweng last June.

The prosecution told Extension II magistrate, Batho Kgerethwa that the accused person has applied for bail at High Court before Justice Terrence Rannowane.

Last month during his bail ruling, Kgerethwa had advised the accused person to go and apply for bail at the High Court if not satisfied with her decision.

On June 25, 2017 it is alleged that Lesolebe who went missing for about two weeks was later discovered by the police buried in a shallow grave under a concrete floor inside Mogotsi’s rented house in Tlokweng.

Mogotsi went on the run until he was apprehended at Banyana Farms on July 16.
