Mogorosi, Msomi suspended for 17 games

Mogorosi, who was returning from suspension was given a heftier suspension of 10 games, which means his season is almost over. He was also slapped with a P10,000 fine to be paid within 14 days.

Msomi will be out for seven games and also has to pay a P10,000 fine within 14 days.

The two led a furious charge at TAFIC defender, Samuel Phiri who had aggressively slapped their teammate, Edwin Moalosi during a tempestuous league encounter at the UB Stadium.

Mogorosi, Msomi and Phiri saw red and were immediately suspended from all local football activities.

Phiri is on a half salary at his club while awaiting his fate from the Botswana Football Association (BFA) Disciplinary Committee, while Msomi and Mogorosi lost one month’s salary for their ill-discipline.

Rollers has already played 17 games, which means Mogorosi will only return for the last four league matches of the season.

He will miss tonight’s encounter against Police XI, and eight other subsequent league matches and the Mascom Top 8 final against Orapa United on March 3.

However, the two are eligible to play in the CAF Champions League and will be on the plane when Rollers leave on Sunday for the return leg against Sudanese side, Al Merreikh.
