Mogwadi Bemoans Poor Refereeing As Rollers Stretch Lead

Rollers beat the Jungle Kings 4-2 in a league game played under floodlights at the UB Stadium on Friday.
“We don’t know what to say to our local referees any more. These guys are protected species.
We cannot have referees who take sides, (today) they never ruled anything in our favour, they were on the Rollers’ side, you could even tell. I was not happy about the refereeing at all,” Mogwadi said after the match.
On the pitch it was Rollers who asked questions earlier on as Motsholetsi Sikele set up on rushing Segolame Boy, but he shot wide while having the simplest task of tapping into the net.
On a counter attack, Boy found Lemponye Tshireletso with a long ball.
The winger beat advancing Police XI goalkeeper and slotted into an empty net to give Popa the lead. Rollers doubled their lead in the 36th minute as Sikele tucked in from close range after a scramble in the box.
The linesman signalled for a foul but centre man, Tshepo Gobagoba gave the goal. The hosts got their third on the brink of half time.
Boy curled in a free kick that was fisted by the goalkeeper.
The ball fell into Tshireletso who unleashed a thunderbolt from outside the box to complete his brace as Rollers took a resounding 3-0 lead into the break.
Eleven minutes into the second half, Sikele who was causing all sort of troubles for the opponents’ full backs, laid a pass for Boy, the midfielder rounded the goalkeeper and tucked home for his side’s fourth goal.
On the other end, Gift Moyo forced a brilliant save from Rollers goalkeeper, Keeagile Kgosipula on the hour mark.
Eliphas Nyambi pulled one back for the Jungle Kings with low taken free kick to the bottom corner.
With 20 minutes to time, Galabywe Moyana who has been out for more than a year with an injury was given a run, replacing Tsepo Matete. Kekaetswe Moloi scored Police XI’s second goal in what was the last action of the game.
“I must be honest, we are already in Sudan.
We are in preparation for the biggest game of the year. This game was part of the preparations.
We were looking for an approach we may use in Sudan.
The league is not our priority, we are focusing on the CAF games, so for now all the league games would be just practice matches,” Rollers’ coach, Nikola Kavazovic said.
