Fosta Juliano features Proverb in new single

Judgmental carries the artists formerly known as Mr Doe’s type of lyricism accompanied by trap beat, which is unusual from a veteran rapper.

The song addresses the changes in the Hip Hop game, which has seen new school rappers changing the art of rap to what is commonly called Mumble Rap.

In the song Fosta Juliano says new school rappers are more focused on the fashion trends than delivering real Hip Hop bars.

Proverb, fellow veteran rapper, also comes in with his classical flow bringing back memories of how rap music used to be in the 1990s and early 2000s.

“I worked on the trap song just to prove a point that one can do trap without mumbling but instead saying constructive stuff.  I have been working on a 19-tracked album because I had a lot to say and it has been a long time since I released a project.”

Describing the album, Fosta Juliano said it predominately comprises of the boom bap Hip Hop style, which he is well known with a mixture of different sounds such as trap.

The celebrated rapper argued that the All I Need album project has more mature content compared to his previous works.

“I have grown over the years. My delivery, content and technique have grown.  I keep the quality high,” he said.

Local producers such as Prez Beatz, Rimzy, Yung Fella produced All I Need as well as UK-based, Andrew Steve.

It also features local acts such as KBoss, Big L Wasekai, Sentence, Swaziland duo Master P and Mozaik.
