Rollers are preparing for tonight's return leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round against Al Merreikh.

Popa, carrying a healthy 3-0 lead from the first leg, had been forewarned about the hostile atmosphere that awaits them in Khartoum.

And yesterday, they were given a taste of what is probably to come, with some eggs thrown at the Rollers bus, despite heavy police escort.

Despite the incident, television commentator, Nelson Ditibane who travelled with the team,  said everything was fine. He said security is tight and the home supporters believe they will easily overturn the three-goal deficit.

'Al Merreikh has a huge following. The town is densely populated. Everyone around here believes they will overturn the three-goal deficit. The four eggs thrown at the bus were probably a message that their team will score four goals,' Ditibane told Mmegi Sport from Sudan this morning.

He said the match venue is intimidating, with over 50,000 fans expected to cram into the stadium, while the Rollers players have described the pitch, as the widest they have seen.
