In an interview with Showbiz, one of the event organisers, Mabitso Kesenye said they had initially advertised that DJ Tira will be the main headliner but due to schedule clash, they had to withdraw from the agreement. “He couldn’t perform in two festivals in a space of five hours,” he said.

Kesenye also emphasised that the incident that happened last year when Black Motion interrupted Charma Gal’s performance would not happen again. “We cannot predict what might happen but we just have to hope for the best,” he said. He added that the security has intensified. Kesenye said the festival gain popularity each year therefore they expect huge following. MMP Family will aim to market their new song Money In The Bank after premiering the video of the track a few weeks ago. Among the top performers on the day will be traditional music giant Ditiro Leero who is always there to remind the crowd that there is more to Setswana language than they already know. ATI of Poelo Morago will also be in the lineup.

Kesenye further told Showbiz that this time around they used a lineup of DJs who have not been given a chance in the festival before like DJ Deco, DJ Ngwazi, DJ Crespo, DJ King, DJ Lex b, DJ Teaz, DJ Davebouy, DJ Mthi, DJ Guyvos, DJ Anthem, DJ La-Puto, DJ Sbere and DJ Openineyo.
