The show titled ‘Training Decade’ inspired by his 12 years reign in the dance industry will be stage at Thornhill Primary School on July 1.

“I have been inactive for a year due to medical conditions, this is my come back as a dancer that’s why I am staging a solo act. This one man show basically carries a story of my journey as a dancer, that’s why it has a series of dance genres that range from contemporary, Afro fusion and Krump,” CJ said.

Despite it being a one-man show, he noted that TNT and Dance Connection might be opening acts.

Apart from this being his come back on stage CJ noted that this show will also be a platform to help him raise tuition fee funds to go and study in Canada where he has been accepted at Toronto Film University.

“Through the show I am also trying to raise tuition fee funds. I have been accepted at Toronto Film School in Canada so I want to go and continue with my studies in film production,” the 26-year-old said.

Moving to Canada means that TNT will have to elect a new leader for the dance ensemble.

“This does not mean I am leaving TNT, I will still be part of them.”

He is currently studying a film production related course at a local institution. CJ has previously worked at My African Dream as a camera operator.
