DJ Izzy Celebrates A Decade Of Radio In Style

His first radio show was 10 years ago on June 2 hence he decided to celebrate his decade on radio on the same day.
It was not just an ordinary radio show as he broadcasted in front of a live audience as it was open for everyone to come and help him celebrate his reign on radio since the age of 18, telling different stories of how he started his journey as a radio presenter and grew to be a versatile media personality who is a radio host, TV presenter, MC, brand ambassador and disc jockey to mention just a few.
Those in attendance included media personalities, socialites and celebrities who had come to support DJ Izzy. Having a live audience while broadcasting made him to interact with different people as he shared the radio experience with them.
The event was made more colourful with different DJ Izzy branding accessories from graphics, moving visuals and his music playing in the background.
After the radio show there was an after party, which was now a celebration. Numbers packed up as most people came for the celebration after party.
In an interview with Showtime DJ Izzy noted that through radio he has managed to grow in different avenues.
“I worked hard (and) I also had my fair share of fun as a youngster. My secret is to be relevant at all the times and work hard,” DJ Izzy said.
In his 10 years he has only worked at Yarona FM where he has hosted a number of shows starting off with a Saturday morning show in 2007.
He is currently presenting Ride, a daily afternoon radio show which is aired from 4pm till 7pm.
