Destruction Boyz to headline Togetherness tour

After setting the pace in the club scene all over Southern Africa with their hit Omunye last year, Destruction Boyz are set make their debut performance at the annual event alongside local acts such as Chrispin The Drummer, ATI, Veezo View, Ban T to mention but a few.

The Durban outfit specialises in Gqom music a new sound that was established in their hometown and has taken over the club scene.

They are the second international outfit to feature in the event after Babes Wo Dumo, who debuted in the country at the same venue in 2016.

“Destruction Boyz have been buzzing all over with their music and we decided to bring them into the coutry so they can connect with their Botswana fans, which is why we have designed one of the best productions and stage set-ups for the event so that revellers feel the experience in a good way,” the event’s production assistant, Thato Pilane said.

Pilane stated that they select artists based on their performance and the appreciation from their fans.

Destruction Boyz came to perform in the country a few weeks ago but the event flopped due to a low turnout and delayed performances. However, Pilane noted that they have everything sorted out to bring a good event for their revellers.

After this Gaborone gig Togetherness Celebration Tour will head to Maun on March 29, 2018 to host another event that will be headlined by another international act that will be announced in a few days to come.
